Anterior has 3 main modes and a host of additional features to further aid clinical diagnosis. Designed to quantify, enhance and give instant, objective results
Intuitive UI design coupled with automated analysis for instant, highly accurate and repeatable results in an easy to use system
The user can crop any image already open in another application, directly into Anterior for analysis. The Crop tool operates just like the Windows snipping tool and instantly imports the image into the workspace
Instantly enhance the vascular structure on both anterior and posterior images with this simple feature. These images can also be exported to your patient reports
A single click feature that allows the user to remove the red colour channel within the image. This tool is a quick way to highlight certain features or areas for deeper analysis
Instantaneously enhances the entire image by applying the green colour channel with enhancements, providing clearer images to aid diagnosis. Additionally, it can enhance images taken with a standard Wratten filter
Allows the user to measure area or segment length. Once a baseline measurement is taken, all measurements are applied against that baseline. Available units; cm, mm, µm, nm
Import images captured via the AOS Companion app. Images are stored in the cloud ready for the user to download. Either double click to import directly to Anterior, or save locally for later analysis
Dynamic automated analysis at your fingertips. Making subjective diagnosis objective
The user can easily draw an area of interest and automatically display the Redness Grading (0-4) and percentage of vessels on the control panel next to the analysed image. Both bulbar and lid (Palpebral) values are graded using a 0-4 scale based upon the accepted CCLRU scale. AOS Anterior is >90% repeatable and accurate
The area of interest is displayed as a colour heatmap; red representing a higher grading, through to blue. The 0 - 4 grade for any given point on the map is displayed at the cursor. This feature provides an easily understandable visual represntation of the patient condition and enables them to track improvement over time
Two separate areas are highlighted on the image allowing both areas to be analysed. The size and shape of the two comparison areas can be easily adjusted simultaneously
A customisable in-built PDF generator allows the user to create new, or add to existing patient reports. Engage with your patients and provide them with results and a treatment pathway they can track with follow up results when added to their report
Create new reports or save analysed images into an existing patient report. Save each analysis as you perform them to generate an easy to read patient friendly document
Add your practice brand logos to the system for a professional, easy to understand report for your patients
Objective analysis, plus easy reporting ensures immediate access to the patient's previous state, meaning follow-up visits hit the ground running and patients have a clear understanding of symptoms and can visually track improvements
This mode displays fluorescein punctuate mapping. It examines images of the conjunctiva and cornea which have been subjected to staining and conjunctival folding
Allows the user to select an area of interest to assess fluorescein build up or corneal folds over the cornea. Indicating low to high fluorescein accumulation, this is a great tool for contact lens fitting
Transforms a 2D image into a visually striking 3D image. Moveable on its axis to give a clearer indication of the amount of accumulation, this easy to understand visualisation of the adjustments required to correct fitting lens is ideal for patient education
Select specific areas to analyse or use the common 5 zones corneal grid. The staining results are displayed in the control panel showing the exact number of punctuates
